Dear Squadrater,
Have you always known better? And have you just been missing practice? Or do you just want to know what the squash rules are exactly? Then the referee course might be something for you!
The referee course is intended to familiarize you with the rules of squash, including with regards to safety, within the span of two hours. The first hour will be dedicated to the theory behind the rules, the second hour will be a practice session, aimed at bringing the established theory to the courts and playing referee to your fellow players. The teacher for this course is our very own Sebas(tiaan) Wiering!
The course will take place on Wednesday, November 24th, from 19:00 till 21:00. The theoretical part -from 19:00 to 20:00- takes place at the Willem-Alexander Sports Center (WAS); the practical part -from 20:00 to 21:00- takes place at our very own courts at the ACLO. Match training sessions on this day will be canceled and the Basic training will be moved up by one hour, namely from 19:00 – 20:00.
